My article, "Die Kunst des Messaging: Die Kür wird zur Pflicht" (The Art of Messaging: Not A Matter of Choice) appears on 3. February in "ALPHA: Der Kadermarkt der Schweiz. Concise messages with strong impact are relatively rare in organizations. A useful tool to strengthen the cutlure and improve exxecution remains unused. Whether you're a communications expert, CEO, top executive or manager, the article introduces a simple tool for to use to improve your daily messaging. Always remember to ask yourself WHY you're communicating, to WHOM, WHAT you're trying to say, HOW best to say it, and WHEN to say it (hint: over and over). If you're a manager in a large, international organization, staying on message is no longer a luxury: it's a must.

Adler Way gets its first projects with Holcim, Credit Suisse, Deutsche Bank, and Swarovski. My one-thousand two- hundred emails to everybody in my address book emails are starting to pay off. Albeit in dribs and drabs. One in ten answer my email; of those, one in ten want to know more or meet with me; of those, another one in ten may have some work for me. I offer a small freebie, and bam, the deal is done.

I start coaching senior managers in Zurich on their personal communications practice.  I also do some teaching at IMD, Lausanne, Switzerland, and I will soon be offering a Communications Master Class for MDs at a large Swiss bank. Some work on a business school brochure follows: we want to make it simple and minimalistic. A stretch. We edit the hell out of it. Reduce to the max. My clients don't want to let the content go -- they'in in love with their own material. Customers are delighted with thestripped-down, minimalistic brochure. To round out my movable feast of services, I offer media assitance to an American company recently moved into Zurich, and some intellectual midwifery work on ex-CEO and management faculty books.

It is often said that you should focus your offer. My news is this: I'm pretty good at many things. Jack of all trades, junior master of some. Adler Way is thriving because I'm willing to do them all:
